Georges and Anne are in their eighties, retired music teachers. Their daughter is also a musician, but she lives abroad with her family. One day, Anne suffers a severe stroke, which leaves her paralysed on one side. The love that Georges and Anne have for another will be put to the test by the ordeal that lies ahead of them.
